Dr Sarita Shetty is one of the best medical practitioners I have come across. She is a thorough professional explaining the eye issues in detail, good listener & instills confidence in patients. Iam fortunate to have my retinal as well as cataract surgery done by her. My family members also visit her on a regular basis. Thank you very much Dr Sarita !! I am from Australia and will be in Mumbai indefinitely. I was advised to see Dr Shetty as I am experiencing some issues with my eyes. I had the most pleasant experience at her clinic yesterday and one does not associate pleasant with medical practices. Dr Shetty is a thorough professional and very knowledgeable but one expects that of their doctors. What sets her apart is her empathy, humility, tremendous listening skills, caring attitude and being calm and very patient. She is not rushed at all as she goes through with her appointments - same “unrushed” professional care for all. Her focus appears to be welfare of her patients and not maximising her proceeds for the day. She explained to me in detail the issue with my eyes and the way forward. The quality of care and professional advice I received was on par, if not better, than what I receive back home in Australia. I also found the front office to be very professional and they diligently carried out the preliminary testing. The surgery is well presented and very clean. Dr. Sarita is the best ophthalmologist I have visited. My experience with Dr. Sarita has been really great. Her warm welcome and smiling face makes you feel very very comfortable and relaxed. Dr.Sarita has done my mother's Vitrectomy operation and she has saved my mom's eyesight from going completely blind. My mom now has almost 70% vision in her left eye.
